Privacy Policy for MJB Strategic
At MJB Strategic, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any personal data you share with us. This Privacy Policy outlines what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. By interacting with our products, forms, or services, you agree to the practices described below.
1. What Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to deliver our services and improve your experience. This includes:
Full names
Email addresses
Curriculum Vitae (CVs), including any information you submit within them
Any data voluntarily provided via forms, email, or direct communication
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information beyond what is included in a CV or form response.
If and when payment functionality is enabled, we do not collect or store any payment information directly. All payment processing is handled securely through a third-party platform (currently Gumroad), which adheres to its own privacy and security protocols.
2. How We Collect Your Data
We collect personal data in the following ways:
When you fill out forms, including Google Forms
When you sign up for our newsletter via Beehive
When you manually submit your CV or application through our platform
When you interact with embedded forms or widgets from third-party providers
We do not currently track product usage or collect behavioral data through our tools or services.
3. Use of Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We do not knowingly implement or manage tracking cookies or tools. However, some platforms we use, such as Framer or Beehiiv, may utilize cookies or similar technologies as part of their embedded functionality. You are encouraged to consult the individual privacy policies of these providers to understand how cookies may be used indirectly through our site.
4. Why We Collect Your Data
Your data is collected for the following purposes:
To match job seekers with relevant recruiters, companies, or opportunities
To deliver email updates, newsletters, or relevant product-related communication
To operate AI-based systems for CV scoring, prioritization, or structured feedback
To ensure that we are continually improving how we serve both job seekers and hiring managers
To maintain operational and business continuity
We do not use your information to personalise marketing content, nor do we share it for third-party advertising purposes.
5. Sharing of Personal Data
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share your data only with relevant third-party processors who help us deliver our service. These include:
Payment platforms (e.g., Gumroad), if and when payment features are used
Newsletter platforms (e.g., Beehiiv), for email communications
Potential employers, recruiters, or hiring professionals, but only as part of a job application or scoring process you opted into
In all cases, we ensure your data is only shared with parties necessary to perform the core service and only for that explicit purpose.
6. Automated Processing and AI Systems
We do use AI-powered systems to assist with candidate scoring and basic recommendation logic. This includes evaluating CV content against job criteria submitted by employers or recruiters. These systems are designed to reduce fatigue in hiring decisions and improve match quality.
This process does not produce final decisions that affect legal rights. Instead, it is used to aid human decision-making in the hiring process.
7. Data Storage and Retention
Your data may be stored across the following platforms:
Google Drive and Google Sheets (for structured form responses)
Make (Integromat) for automation logic and workflow processing
Beehiiv (for newsletter communications and audience management)
We retain your data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, or until you request deletion.
8. Security Measures
While we do not currently operate a dedicated cybersecurity infrastructure, we apply reasonable digital safeguards to protect your data. These include:
Limiting access to form responses and databases to verified account owners
Using secure cloud services with encryption and two-factor authentication
Avoiding local storage of personal data outside of encrypted cloud environments
We will continuously review and improve our security posture as our services grow.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
Ask us to delete your information from our systems
Revoke any prior consent, especially with regard to email communications
To exercise these rights, please email us directly or submit a formal request through the contact form on our website.
10. Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received data from a minor, we will promptly delete that data.
